Lesson 1: The Power of Vision
In this opening lesson, you will discover the importance of having a vision for your family. Where there is no vision, the people perish. In the same way, where there is no family vision, the family perishes. Vision creates passion. Passion fuels discipline. Discipline creates total commitment. And total commitment will change the world…one family at a time. This lesson will lay a foundation for defining your family’s vision and ignite your path to intentional direction.
Lesson 2: Uncovering Your Family’s Core Values Why are you the way you are? What values does your family exhibit daily? Are there values your family wants to exhibit instead? Whether you realize it or not, your life is already shaped by a set of core values. In this powerful lesson, Greg gives your family interactive tools to uncover the core values that already shape your family dynamics, and helps you identify and integrate the values your family aspires to cultivate.
Lesson 3: Becoming an Interdependent Family
It’s all about relationship! Teenagers don’t rebel against authority; they rebel against the lack of relationship. In this lesson, Greg Gunn explains what an interdependent family is and why it is crucial to develop a strong, healthy, family culture where all members receive the attention, support, and validation they need. You will learn the verbal and emotional needs of each member of your family, and why it is so important to speak to your husband, wife, son, and daughter about specific topics. You will receive practical tools to create an environment where family members turn toward each other in a healthy way to get their needs met.
Lesson 4: Writing Your Family Mission Statement
If writing a mission statement for your family seems daunting, don’t worry—this class makes it incredibly simple. In this important lesson, you will review your family’s core values and develop a Family Mission Statement. Our process makes this painless by providing statements of mission for each core value. This lesson will help you see—possibly for the first time—what your family was created to do.  
Lesson 5: The Rechabite Family
Most families have a plan for a few weeks out. Very few have plans for several years. Can you imagine having a 300-year vision for your family? In this lesson you’ll learn about the Rechabite clan, a family who stood on simple core values for several centuries and created a legacy that lasted. Your vision doesn’t end when your kids reach age eighteen, or even eighty! This lesson will lead you in navigating role changes that take place as your family matures. Greg will walk you through each stage of instilling your family’s vision into the culture of your home, and how to pass it on to the care of the next generation. This lesson will inspire you to dream big and expand your vision to impact your family for generations to come.
Lesson 6: Developing Your Family Vision Statement and Family ID
In this final lesson, Greg Gunn brings it all home. Using simple tools that guide your family through the process, you will work together to cast a Family Vision. Then the fun begins! You will learn how to turn your values, mission, and vision into a short family slogan that you can rally around to stay Intentional in your Direction!
